A third generation licensed residential builder. Able to wheel power equipment and flash a chimney before he could drive a car, Kyle was raised on a roof. Trained at the hip of some of Michigan's biggest names in residential construction in the 80's & 90's Kyle brings an analytical new school approach to roofing projects along with the tutelage and old school work ethic of his mentors. Before becoming a top rated roofing contractor, Kyle has held every position in the industry from laborer to business owner and has spent time on all sides of construction as a material supply account manager and project manager as well as a roofing replacement & repair installer for some of the biggest companies in mid Michigan. The broad knowledge of materials, installation methods, building codes, project management and learning a few things the hard way, make Kyle and Compass Exteriors a unique and prevalent force in Mid Michigan
William R, Production/Operations Manager
A state licensed roofing contractor and specialty roofing ace with nearly 40 years in the industry, Bill is still an installer at heart. Handling all the behind the scenes operations of roofing replacement & repairs can make or break a project right out of the gate, Bill is one of the best in the industry. He treats every clients home as if it were his own with scheduling deliveries, dumpsters and installation schedules and is outstanding with project transparency and communicating with clients from start to finish, answering questions before they are questions and solving problems before they are problems. Home projects are rarely without weather delays or unforeseen challenges and having a quick thinking veteran makes all the difference in the world.
The Boys
Working together for the past decade under Kyle & Bill, a few installers have come and gone but the core group has been the driving force behind completing roofing replacement & repair projects. Certified Master Applicator installers and trained in all areas of project management. The boys don't worry about what's easy, only what is correct, they make an incredibly difficult job look easy. We couldn't ask for a better, safe, professional group of guys.
